Freeze a handful of blueberries and they’ll make a refreshing snack and will also help keep your little one’s lunch nice and cool.
Mix things up with tortillas. Fill them with hummus, grated carrot and cumber and some olive tapenade for a healthy rolled up meal. They last for a few days and you can slice off a couple of fresh rolls each day!
If your little one loves fruity slices just cut an apple up, and reassemble it with a rubber band.
Crisps don’t have to be unhealthy. Try making homemade vegetable crisps. Slice of pieces of carrot, sweet potato and beetroot and roast with some virgin olive oil.
Make a batch of savoury muffins – try making cheese, olive and onion ones or try feta with spinach and red peppers. Yum-alicious!
Roll out some puff pastry and add tomato sauce, sweetcorn, peas and other veg. Top with cheese, roll it up and cut off slices. Pop the slices in the oven and hey presto – a fun and tasty way to get some veggies into your little one.
